International Fashion Practices @MMU

I've only been here for over a month and I have done so many assignments already! I realized I never really share any of my academic works here since high school art class and I think they're quite interesting.... what do you think?

and of course, can't forget the food. This was brunch at Giraffe after vintage shopping with the girls.
this is at Krobar by Manchester University. 2-4-1 cocktail caught our eyes.
and of course breakfast at Home Sweet Home. was a bit of a wait, but totally worth it!

Here's my burgundy jersey dress that I finally finished today, it is for my Advance Technology class where we're suppose to apply ten different seams with the machines in our lab. It's quite awesome having a 2 chain cover stitch machine at my disposal ;)

Can't wait to show you what I made :)

Manchester Vogue Fashion Night Out!!!

I don't even know where to start! FNO was such a success and to sum it up?
Free truffles, hot coco, champagne, cranberry vodka (the good stuff: grey goose not smirnoff!), alcoholic ice-cream ( I didn't even know those existed) list goes on, food, goody bags, hair styling, manicures, photo shoot and there was just so much to look at! I don't think a girls night out can get any more fun!
I Received a beautiful illustration from Clym Everndam at Hugo Boss and a whole lot of other stuff... seen below.

Day 13 Manchester

outfit: Primark Top, Nitrogen Demin, Dr. Marten Boots, Billabong backpack

I can't believe how fast time is passing!
I went pub/ bar/ club  hopping last night with my flatmates, that was really fun. We were in The Salisbury and I never felt so out of place, everyone was British, and there we were walking in as two indian, one chinese canadian and one singaporean. Ummm... talk about minority! Have you ever felt so out of place? But it was a lot of fun anyways, the bartender even came over and took a picture of us (and I swear, only us, maybe we're a rare specimen to them haha!), they said they will be posting the picture on their page. Can't wait to see that. We also hit up Black Dog Ballroom and Sakura

The Twisted Maxi

I've been seeing this cute drape twist maxi everywhere so I decided to quickly whip up one.
Mine is made with an elastic waist and lining. Fabric was $7 and took me about 20 minutes.

lots of love from Manchester!
